ALL ABOARD THE WALKING SCHOOL BUS

Do you want to get some exercise and help your neighbors at the same time?

Arlington’s inter-generational Walking School Bus is looking for adult Volunteers to help neighborhood elementary students walk safely to school.

Volunteers choose their own schedules, coordinators provide training and support, students get a healthy start to their school day, families get a break,
and everyone wins!

Whether you’re interested in volunteering, referring a family, or finding out more, this is your stop!

What is the Alliance?

Our mission is to help the senior population of Arlington County maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. The Alliance for Arlington Senior Programs works in partnership with the Office of Senior Adult Programs to support its 55 + Program. The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
